Film Photography:
My descent into pretentious hipsterdom.
Series 1: Multuple Exposures.
Multiple exposure means stacking multiple images into one.
Image 1. This tab on my camera allows me to “advance” the film without actually moving, it, meaning I can shoot more than once on the same slide.
Image 2. Between each exposure, I switched from one filter to another, and changed my point of view or direction to create an overlapping effect. Depending on how many times I exposed the film, I adjusted the shutter speed or aperture to compensate.
Images 3-5. By this process, I achieved the effect of blending images and colors.
Seires 2: Flattened Perspectives, and an appreciation of my hometown of Sarasota, including some of my favorite architecture.
